BUSINESS GROWTH CONSULTING

Work out what is actually holding the business back.

Most businesses do not need another layer of complexity. Usually something already in the system is wasting time, losing sales or making the next step harder than it needs to be.

Avantunda looks at how the business actually works, finds what is getting in the way and simplifies it. Based in Aberdeen, working with businesses across Scotland and beyond.

Growth problems are rarely one thing.

A lead problem can actually be a follow-up problem. A staff problem can be unclear responsibility. A marketing problem can be an offer that nobody really understands.

The point is to stop treating each symptom on its own and work out what is feeding it. Once you understand that, you know what is actually worth changing.

Where we usually look first

Sales & conversion

Where are people dropping off? Are enquiries being followed up? Are existing customers being offered the next useful thing? Small gaps here can cost more than a lack of leads.

Systems & efficiency

How does the work move from one person or stage to the next? What is repeated, unclear or unnecessary? Keep what works, remove what does not and make the useful parts repeatable.

Communication & positioning

What do customers think you do? What does the team think they are responsible for? If either answer is unclear, the whole system slows down. Make the value and the next step obvious.

Understand the system before you start changing it.

01

Understand

Learn what the business is trying to do and how it currently does it.

02

Map

Break it into parts so you can see what affects what instead of guessing.

03

Test

Use what actually happens, not what should happen, to find the weak points.

04

Simplify

Keep what earns its place. Change or remove what does not.

05

Repeat

Run it again, measure the result and keep improving it.

Sometimes the answer is adding something. Quite often it is removing something that should never have been there.

Start with the Strategy Audit.

If something feels off but you cannot see exactly where the problem is, this is where we start. We look at the business as a whole, find the biggest constraints and work out what is actually worth fixing first.
